Foundry Education designs, manufactures and delivers high-quality modular education spaces for schools, MATs, Local Authorities and Dioceses across the UK.
From classrooms and nurseries to specialist SEND, SEMH and Inclusion Bases, we combine educational expertise with modular construction to create spaces that support pupils, staff and the wider school community.
Beyond construction, we also provide wrap-around professional consultancy, including evaluations of existing inclusion spaces, inclusion statements, CPD training and wider support to help schools strengthen their approach to inclusion.
-
We bring education and construction expertise together under one roof.
Our team includes experienced education professionals alongside architectural, design, manufacturing and construction specialists. This means we consider more than just the building itself - we look at how the space will be used, who it needs to support and how it can contribute to better outcomes for pupils.
From initial evaluation and design through to manufacture, installation and ongoing review, we support schools throughout the whole process.

Modular construction offers a smarter, faster, and more efficient way to build, combining precision factory manufacturing with flexible design and long-term performance.
Buildings are manufactured in a controlled factory environment while site works can take place simultaneously, helping to reduce programme times, weather delays and disruption to day-to-day school life.
Our modular buildings are designed as permanent, high-quality educational environments — not temporary classrooms or basic cabins.

An Inclusion Base is a dedicated space within a school designed to support pupils who may need additional help to access learning successfully.
It can provide a calmer, more adaptable environment for pupils with SEND, SEMH needs or other additional requirements, while allowing them to remain connected to their wider school community.
Every Inclusion Base can be tailored around the needs of the school, its pupils and the support being delivered.

Funding routes vary depending on your school, trust, Local Authority and the type of project being delivered.
Our team can help you understand the likely project costs, develop the scope of your building and provide the information needed to support internal approvals or funding applications.
We can also work alongside your MAT, Local Authority, Diocese or other funding partners to help develop a practical and deliverable solution.
-
Our specialist spaces are designed around the needs of the pupils who will use them rather than simply adapting a standard classroom.
We consider factors such as sensory comfort, acoustics, natural light, colour, zoning, circulation, breakout areas, supervision and opportunities for pupils to regulate away from the main learning environment.
We also draw on the experience of education professionals and feedback from young people to create spaces that feel calm, safe and supportive - helping pupils feel more settled and ready to learn.

We support you from the first conversation through to completion and beyond.
We begin by understanding your pupils, site, objectives and available budget. From there, our education and design teams develop a tailored proposal before progressing through design, approvals and manufacture.
Your building is then manufactured at our Northamptonshire facility, prepared for delivery and installed on site with disruption kept to a minimum. Our spaces can be manufactured in as little as 5 weeks from design to delivery. Bespoke designs, site requirements and our current production programme may affect the overall timescale, but we’ll provide a clear schedule from the outset.
Where required, we can also support post-occupancy reviews and help you understand how the new environment is working for pupils and staff.
